August Construction Update

As of July 30th, the Lied Place project is “topped off” at its full 257’ height.  The construction crane has been busy clearing the remaining concrete formworks from the site as construction now moves to the completion of the interior spaces.  Only four more floors of windows remain to be placed before the exterior of the upper floors will be complete.  Installation of the granite panels on the first three floors will start soon followed by the completion of the building lobby and restaurant space.

Over 80% of the residential portion has been committed with only 6 of the 35 units remaining.  Office space is now at 40% committed.  The interior finish on residential units on floors 8 through 14 is nearing completion as construction crews work their way up the floors.  

With the completion of the installation of the windows, construction of the building will no longer be affected by Nebraska weather.  First occupancy of units on the building is on track for January of 2022.
